Anesthesia Technician - Brighton Surgery Center, LLC

Brighton Surgery Center, LLC has an opening for an Anesthesia Tech: Part time 24-30 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Turns on and connects appropriate hoses to anesthesia machines each morning prior to surgery.
Checks each anesthesia machine and equipment for leaks and malfunction each morning prior to surgery and reports any malfunction immediately to anesthesia coordinator.
Stocks all anesthesia equipment/medications in each room daily. Informs anesthesia coordinator of any medication shortages.
Stocks, maintains and checks difficult airway cart continuously and informs anesthesia coordinator immediately of any malfunctions or equipment failures. Cart to be organized and no extra/miscellaneous equipment on cart.
Maintains/orders anesthesia equipment , supplies, medications are at adequate levels.
Assists Anesthesiologist/CRNA with pediatric cases (IV insertion) and difficult airway cases or other procedures where by the Anesthesiologist requires a helping hand.
Immediately available to provide anesthesia provider with emergency equipment, supplies or medications upon request.
Turns over anesthesia machine following general anesthesia cases including a leak test of the new anesthesia circuit.
Preform other duties as necessary to assure the smooth functioning of BSC.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma

Experience: 1-3 year's experience
